The Public Relations Officer is responsible for keeping residents informed about relevant public safety information by writing and distributing press releases to the media, and by managing the Weld County Sheriff's Office's social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The public relations officer serves as a spokesman for the agency, handles requests for information from the media and serves as a contact for open records requests.

Daily Arrest Reports

Running a search will include all arrests made from February 14, 2006, through all arrests made yesterday.

Weld County Sheriff Warrant Searches

The searches below summarize a current list of known warrants in Weld County. If you do not find a warrant, this does not preclude the existence of a warrant. There could be other warrants issued by other agencies, ie. municipal, federal, etc. There may also be a warrant that isn't in the automated system. Persons wanting to turn themselves into the Weld County Combined Courts Clerk's Office located at 915 10th St, Greeley, may do so between 7:30am-4:30pm ground floor east end of the courthouse. You may obtain information from the courthouse by calling 970-475-2400. Press "0" for an operator. Anyone with an active warrant may turn themselves into the Weld County Jail at 2110 "O" St, Greeley.

Open Records Requests

The Weld County Sheriff's Office will accept requests for records from the community and members of the media. Requests for records may incur a fee based on the amount of time spent on the request in accordance with the Weld County Code fee schedule

Requests for patrol, administration, inmate, and inmate medical records will be submitted to the Weld County Sheriff's Office Records Division. Please download and fill out the Application for Release of Records(PDF, 714KB), and have it notarized, before making your request.

Emergency Alerts

The Weld County Emergency Alerts system is designed to send out any late breaking information, including information about wanted persons, vehicles or missing persons. This system also provides updates from the Weld County Emergency Operations Center during large-scale emergencies or natural disaster events.
