[Lasalle, CO]- Earlier today Highway 85 was closed due to the Weld County Regional SWAT Team and the Greeley SWAT Team executing a high-risk search warrant in the area of the 25000 block of U.S. 85.
While there was no active threat to the Weld County community, there was still a potential risk to motorists traveling on Highway 85. WCSO took precautionary measures to keep motorists safe by diverting traffic away from this area.
While Highway 85 is now open, this is still an active, ongoing investigation, and law enforcement is still searching the property. More information will be released as it becomes available.
