[Greeley, Colo.] – On May 14, 2024, at 12:20 p.m., an inmate in the Weld County jail experienced a medical event and was treated on-site by medical personnel at the jail. The inmate was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 8:44 p.m.
The 19th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team will be handling this investigation. Det. Jon Bohl with the Greeley Police Department is the lead investigator and can be reached at (970) 350-9572.
